My name is Joel Allen, and I am raising funds for my dear friend, John Bounds, who recently survived a devastating motorcycle accident. What John has endured is nothing short of a miracle.
After the crash, John was clinically dead three separate times. By the grace of God and the incredible efforts of the medical team, he was brought back each time and continues to fight every day to recover.
John suffered numerous life-threatening injuries, including a broken left leg and knee, a broken wrist, a fractured clavicle, broken ribs, and a broken sternum. He also experienced bleeding in his brain and had to undergo lung drainage. Due to the severity of his condition, John was placed on life support for two and a half weeks while doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize him.
As if that were not enough, complications followed. The metal rod placed in his leg to repair the fracture caused a severe infection, and his leg became septic. This has added even more medical procedures, pain, and uncertainty to an already long road to recovery.
John now faces an overwhelming financial burden. Between extensive medical bills, ongoing treatments, living expenses while he was unable to work, and legal expenses related to the accident, the costs continue to grow.
Despite everything he has gone through, John remains strong in his faith. He is a devoted Christian who has always loved serving his church and helping his community. Anyone who knows John knows he is a hardworking, kind hearted man who is always willing to lend a hand to others.
John is also looking forward to the future. He is engaged to his wonderful fiancée, Joanna, and they hope to be married within the next two years. Right now, their focus is on healing and getting John back on his feet so they can build the life they have been dreaming of together.
We are asking for your prayers and support during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, no matter the size, will help relieve the financial strain and allow John to focus on what matters most, his recovery.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping John and Joanna in your prayers. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more than words can express.
Thank you for helping us support John on his road to recovery.
