Help John Takats Heal After Devastating Accident

Hello Friends,

I am Janet, a single mother and Stage 3 cancer survivor, still dealing with medical implications from the illness. My son John was selflessly there for me every step of the way and left his new job as an architect to take me to chemotherapy and radiation treatment for months when I had cancer.

On Friday afternoon, April 4, 2025, John went through a traumatic fall, sustaining multiple injuries. He was taken by paramedics to Jupiter Medical Hospital, where he was operated on for two broken ankles, one of which broke at the hospital. He also sustained a broken nose and jawbone, specifically the alveolar bone which holds the teeth intact. His teeth were pushed back and up into his jawbone, some even embedded in the upper jaw. In addition, on impact, his mouth and upper and lower lips split open and burst when hitting the floor while trying to get up, slipping in his own blood.

He fell unconscious for over three hours.

Thankfully, he regained consciousness and crawled to call out for help.

We are asking for any help that can be provided to bring my son back to health.

He has to endure multiple surgeries on his mouth, teeth, orthodontics, nose, and ankles/feet. John will have months of physical therapy and surgeries ahead of him.

Unfortunately, I am without the funds required for all the necessary surgeries and physical therapy treatment to bring my brilliant, kind, compassionate son back to good health so he can go back to work and living life to the fullest.
