On Saturday, December 27th, our dear friend John Furrier was involved in a serious dirt bike accident while off-roading with his family.
Due to the severity of his injuries, John was airlifted by helicopter to the hospital. He sustained a shattered femur and a broken hip and underwent a three-hour surgery, during which surgeons placed a titanium rod from his hip to his knee to stabilize the damage.
John’s anticipated recovery timeline is 12–18 months. He is the sole provider for his family and does not have FMLA or disability benefits. As a result, they are facing mounting medical bills, a sudden loss of income, unexpected equipment and recovery-related costs, in addition to their mortgage and everyday living expenses.
The purpose of this GoFundMe is to help ease this financial burden so John can focus fully on healing and Melissa can care for him without the constant fear and stress that comes with lost income.
This page was created by friends who care deeply about John and Melissa, with the hope of easing the road ahead. John and Melissa are incredibly hard-working and kind people, and if you have ever been on the receiving end of their generosity or support, please consider supporting them in whatever way you are able.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
