Help John Groff's Widow

Hello it's Lenny here,
It pains me to say that my brother, John, passed away last week on 2/20/23. He leaves behind his wife, Angie and their fur baby, P.D. My family and I are asking for help with some unexpected financial burdens this has caused. 13 years ago, John suffered from a heart attack and had to have quadruple bypass surgery along with a pacemaker implant and defibrillator. About 10 years ago he was placed on disability because of his health. During this time, he reunited with his high school sweetheart, Angie, and they married and moved to Florida to live their best life together.
Early February John suffered from another heart attack so myself, and some family members flew to Florida to be with him and his wife. John had projects that needed to be completed in the house. As I looked at the floor project, I realized quickly that it was more work than he could handle and too much for me to do in a couple days. We wanted to complete this project to surprise him and allow him not to stress about his living condition. We got in touch with a contractor who quoted us a price and said it should be done in about 5 days. As the job continued more problems arose and more costs were added. This was in part due to mold being remediated that led to unexpected hotel stays and food purchases. The 5-day job has turned into 3 weeks and is thankfully almost finished. Sadly, John did not get to see the finished outcome but did get to see some of the progression and was so happy to see how good the new flooring looked.
Unfortunately, the cost is much more than what was anticipated, and to add to this Angie is now left to pay for their mortgage along with all their other bills while being on disability herself. We are asking for help with these unexpected costs of the repairs but more so to help Angie stay in the house that they purchased together to make their home. She has lost the love of her life, please help us keep her in their home.
We thank all of you in advance for your help during this difficult time.
