Any additional donations will go directly toward covering medical bills, cremation and memorial service expenses. Your kindness means more than words can express.
Thank you for standing by us.
Original Story:
On March 27th, our beloved dad, John Gollan news that he was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. Shortly after, we learned that the cancer had spread to his brain, leading to a stroke.
John is the heart of our family. He’s an incredible dad, a loving and devoted husband, and the kind of person who brings out the best in everyone around him. A proud U.S. Army veteran and longtime public servant, John spent over 30 years with the Colorado Department of Corrections, ultimately serving as a Captain, protecting and serving his community with courage and integrity while raising three daughters with unwavering love, strength, and humor.
He is selfless, hard-working, kind beyond measure, and has an unforgettable sense of humor. To know John is to love him.
Now, we’re asking for your help.
As John begins this fight, our family is facing immense medical and financial challenges. We’re raising funds to support:
- Immediate cancer treatment and ongoing care

- Household and living costs during this difficult time
John has spent his life taking care of others with grit, compassion, and humor. Now, it’s our turn to take care of him. Every donation, no matter the size, helps lighten the load and gives him the best chance possible.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting our dad and our family through this. Your kindness means more than words can say.
