HI, my name is John and I'm 65 and have COPD. I've been told by my doctors that I only have one or two more years to live unless I get a double lung transplant. I have worked my whole life and love what I do and don't want stop now, but I need help to get my lungs replaced. The transplant would lay me up for three or four months and the anti-rejection drugs are very costly. While I do have insurance the out of pocket costs are still incredibly high.
