John was in a terrible accident at the skate park on Friday, March 31. Not the way the Rutherford family was hoping to start Spring Break. Thankfully John is alright, but he has a long road to recovery and surgeries to get through.
John suffered a severe concussion, broke his nose, lost all his remaining baby teeth and several adult teeth, and broke his upper pallet.
He is at Children's hospital in Oakland and is expected to stay there through the middle of the week.
