Hi everyone, my name is Kelly. I'm hoping to help my best friend John.

We are raising funds to help John replace the engine in his pride

and joy - his 2012 HSV Clubsport R8. This car isn't just a weekend hobby. It's road registered, track-ready, and has become an important part of John's life, particularly his mental wellbeing.

For John, his Clubsport has been a powerful outlet for managing and improving his mental health. Working on the car, driving it, and being part of the car community gives him something positive to focus on,

especially during difficult times. What makes John's journey

even more special is that he doesn't keep it to himself - he uses his car to help others too.

John regularly takes his Clubsport to track days, community car shows, and street meets, proudly displaying mental health awareness stickers and novelty plates: "RUOK?".

Wherever he goes the car becomes a conversation starter -encouraging people to check in on one another as well as helping to break down the stigma around mental health.

On TikTok, John speaks openly about both his mental and physical

health; regularly engaging with others and encouraging honest,

supportive conversations.

John himself lives with ongoing physical ailments, and the mental health challenges that can come alongside them - but he continues to show up, share his story, and support others.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, John's engine now needs replacing, and the cost is significant.

Every donation, big or small, will go toward helping John get his HSV back up and running again-not only so he can get back on the

road and track, but more importantly so he can continue using it as a platform to raise awareness and encourage others to speak up and seek support about mental health.
