John was diagnosed in September of 2024 with mixed germ cell cancer. At that time, he had a brain tumor that he underwent resection, chemotherapy, and radiation for. As of yesterday, they have concluded that the cancer is back. His tumor markers are at 78. They will be doing scans to try to identify where the cancer has come back at the end of February and decide if there is anything they can do, as he has received the maximum treatment of chemo and radiation for this cancer.

Rebekkah and John would like to try to check some things off his bucket list prior to the scans. They want to travel to see family, go to Washington, DC to see pandas, visit New York, and his dream is to make it to Japan after the scans. Rebekkah has been unable to work since John's diagnosis as he needs constant supervision and care. Anyone who is able to donate, it would be greatly appreciated to help with their travels to make some of John's dreams come true. Anyone who knows Rebekkah knows she tries to do everything herself, and she would do anything possible for John to make his dreams a reality.
