Help Us Find Answers To My Husband's Chronic Pain at Mayo Clinic

For more than a decade, my husband has lived with relentless, life-altering chronic pain. Since 2010, our lives have revolved around surgeries, procedures, appointments, and trying to hold on

to hope that the next treatment might finally bring relief.

Despite doing everything asked of him-enduring invasive procedures, countless appointments,

and endless hours of physical therapy-his pain continues, and we are now at a point where we desperately need fresh eyes and new answers. Over the years, my husband has undergone:

*2 spinal fusion surgeries

*3 spinal cord stimulator surgeries

*3 morphine pain pumps, requiring 4 separate surgeries

*1 severe, life-threatening infection

*Approximately 15 injections in his spine and hip

*Around 75 trips to the University of Chicago

*Countless hours of physical therapy

These treatments represent years of hope, pain, recovery, setbacks, and perseverance. My husband has never stopped fighting-he

continues to push forward even on days when the pain is overwhelming.

We are now seeking care at Mayo Clinic, where specialized pain management experts can take a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to his condition. We believe Mayo offers the best

chance to finally understand why his pain

persists and what other options may exist.

Unfortunately, the cost of travel, lodging,

consultations, and uncovered medical expenses is more than we can manage on our own. That's why we are humbly asking for help. Our goal is to raise $7,500, which will go directly toward:

*Travel to and from Mayo Clinic

*Lodging during evaluations

*Specialist consultations and testing

*Related out-of-pocket medical expenses
