Help John find his final resting Place

Hi, my name is Sarah Guarino. I’ve never made a gofundme before, but this is for someone very special to me. My uncle John, one of my best friends, has stage four pancreatic cancer. He’s always been my “best pal” and someone who I’ve shared countless memories and laughs with. He’s one of the most giving people I know, taking care of his best friend's mom, for example, and doing things like driving her around for three hours on Christmas Eve to see all the Christmas lights around town. He’s a member of my town's local gardening club (probably one of very few men, if not the only one there).

He spent a lot of his younger years living in Colorado, and I can still remember little me running into his arms every time I heard his voice when he came into our house.

He doesn’t know how many more months of good health he has left but has one wish. A man proud of his Scottish heritage, he wants to make one last trip to his ancestor's homeland of Scotland to find the spot where he wants his ashes to be left. He has no partner or kids to chip in to pay for this trip, and even a dollar could help him find peace in starting to accept his untimely fate. Spending his 20’s and 30’s in the rocky mountains, he would love to have his resting place be the Scottish hills.
