John has been a good friend to all who have known him and always volunteering his time to lend a helping hand to those who needed it.  Recently,  John underwent a partial amputation of his lower leg due to complication from diabetes.  He and Ramona have a long road ahead with many unknown expenses to come including transportation, medical costs that may not be covered by insurance like in-home therapy and prosthetic down the line. They also   need to acclimate and modify  the home for his recovery before he can come home.  I'm sure if it were up to everyone, we'd have a benefit but the times we are in just won't let that happen.  If you can help in any way, it is really appreciated.   Prayers and positive vibes are also needed at this time.
