Help John Chilla Fight Stage 4 Glioblastoma!
Donation protected
On February 7th, our lives took an unexpected turn when our beloved dad, John Chilla, was rushed to the ER complaining of fatigue and headaches. What followed was a heart-wrenching diagnosis: Stage 4 Glioblastoma, a devastating brain tumor.
It's been a whirlwind of emotions since then. Just weeks ago, Dad was his usual vibrant self, joking, laughing and dancing, but now he struggles to speak and keep his eyes open. To add to the challenge, my parents had recently relocated to Florida, settling into their new home just two weeks prior.
Navigating through various hospitals and medical challenges, we finally found a team of doctors in Orlando who are providing Dad with the care he so desperately needs. However, the journey ahead is daunting. Dad's Medicare won't kick in until next month, and even then, there's a deductible to meet. The costs of treatment, medical and regular bills, along with Mom's daily commute to be by his side, are mounting rapidly.
This is where we turn to you, our friends, family, and compassionate strangers. Your generosity can alleviate the financial strain on our family during this difficult time. Every donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to Dad's medical bills and Mom's travel expenses so they can stay together during this fight.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your love, prayers, and support. Together, we can give Dad the strength and resources he needs to battle this disease.
With our utmost gratitude, The Chilla Family
