Our beloved brother, John E. Bacher, was cruelly murdered on August 10th, 2025.

He was intentionally run down while crossing the intersection at 21st and Burnham, in Milwaukee, WI at 5:10pm on Sunday August 10th, 2025. This was also the day of his twin sons 18th birthday.

His life was cut short by a driver, who he thought was his friend. The driver, who is currently in custody has been charged with 1st degree intentional homicide.

Our brother wasn't perfect, he had problems and made some bad decisions, but anyone who knew him knew he would tell a story and have you laughing till your sides hurt, help anyone who needed it, was loyal to a fault, and genuinely was a good man. He mafe mistakes, ad we all have, but weloved him very much.

He is now joined with our mother and father in heaven. No one deserves to have their life cut short by someone else, for any reason.

What we do know about the homicide is that as we speak, our brother sits at the medical examiner's and we would very much like to move forward with putting him to rest as he deserves and then perhaps the family can begin the healing process.

We desperately want to move forward with putting him to rest respectfully, but we are unable to absorb the cost of all end-of-life expenses, and it is for that reason that we ask for your help.

The family pleads for your help with the end-of-life expenses. We want only to pay our respects, say our goodbyes, and lay our brother to rest peacefully.
