Help John Attend his Dream School and Play Soccer

Hi, my name is Dinah Heald. My son, John Doster, has signed to play soccer with Shorter University in Rome, Georgia this fall. Even after his scholarships, grant and aid, he is still short on his tuition. Unfortunately, we found this out today and need to somehow come up with the money before move-in on August 5th. We are trying every avenue possible beyond this GoFundMe page, including searching for last-minute scholarships and loans.

John has been playing soccer since he was nine years old and has worked extremely hard to achieve all he has in soccer. He played for Southside High School from the time he was in eighth grade. He has also played for several clubs, and his most recent club was DC Inferno in Fort Payne, AL. A few of his soccer accomplishments these past few years are:

John wants to attend Shorter University to get his Bachelor of Science in Biology and then further his education to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. Founded in 1873, Shorter University is a Christ-centered, four-year liberal arts university committed to excellence in education.
