On January 12th, John Peyton suffered a debilitating stroke and was rushed to Skyline for emergency surgery. After a 30-day inpatient stay, he was sent home. Yet, returned on February 13th with a pulmonary embolism. He was moved to Ascension Acute Rehab before being discharged on March 7.

John's wife, Tina, has been a vital part of our community, always there to lend a hand and support others in times of need. Now, it's our time to be there for her and John. As John recovers, they are facing significant challenges -- insurance isn't covering home health care or the necessary modifications to make their home safe and accessible for him.
