Help John and Pam Batten Through This Tough Time

Donation protected
Many of you know my sister and brother-in-law, Pam and John Batten. You may or may not know that John experienced a significant stroke on July 30. He was airlifted to Duke Hospital for emergency surgery to remove a blood clot located at the base of his skull. By God’s grace, John is recovering and we are so very thankful because this could have been much, much worse. But as a result of this sudden emergency, John will not be in any condition to work to bring in any income for at least the remainder of this year. Pam is not able to work and will be with John full-time as he regains his mobility through physical, occupational and speech therapy. Unfortunately, insurance is minimal. Of course, none of us would want to be in this position and as much as we’d rather not ask, they are in need of help with their living expenses. If you’re able, we would ask that you contribute any amount you can to help them meet their daily needs and pay their bills as they come due. They’d be eternally grateful for any amount you could contribute but if you aren’t able to make a donation, there’s absolutely no pressure at all. Either way, we would covet your prayers as John works towards recovering and being back to his awesome self once again. Thank you so very much for your consideration and may God bless you!
