As many of you may know, we lost Clara a month ago to a very long and hard-fought battle with cancer. She stayed with us for many years beyond what the doctors said she would because she was so strong.

As you all know, I've always tried to take care of everything myself. I am no good at asking for help. Well, it turns out with everything, Ruth and I are struggling. Medical bills, final expenses, lost work, AC needing replacement... The list just never ends. We need some help to get us back on track. Everything costs way more than you plan for. $2500 for the final expenses, $2k for the AC, a couple of months behind on the mortgage because the bank we keep our bill money in froze her account.

I know everyone has a story. But anything you guys can do would be greatly appreciated. It would make a huge difference to the family and me personally.
