Help John after losing his beloved wife Pamela

Donation protected
Hi, I'm Marianne Combs, and I'm just one of the many people who were graced by the light that was Pamela Espeland. As both a lover of the arts and a keen observer of human nature, Pamela was a pillar of the Twin Cities cultural scene, and helped to lift up the careers of so many writing articles for MinnPost and the Star Tribune. We were all shocked to learn of her sudden death Sunday night.

Her stories were often accompanied by images with the credit "Photo by John Whiting." John is her husband, and they were inseparable. John helped make her career possible, taking care of the house and cooking while she worked late to meet a deadline, and accompanying her to shows with his camera and his expert eye. Really, it's the two of them who were covering the arts scene all these years.

John is devastated by the sudden loss of his beloved, and we want to do everything we can to ease the pain as he figures out his path moving forward. This means helping to make mortgage payments and cover the cost of living as he likely begins a job search. Please give what you can and share with your friends.
