Help Johanna in her battle with cancer

Donation protected
Hello,
As Some of you may know that my wife Johanna, aka Abbey, was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in August 2020. It is called the silent killer. For 22 months now, Jo has fought like a bull. She has endured two major surgeries and 14 months of chemo. Last April, she was declared cancer-free. We went on a long bucket list road trip after her remission. This photo is from Destin, Florida last August. We went there with Jo's cousins and family and Jo rode the waves and wiped out many times! This was that day! We were so optimistic! Jo was living like a person who cheated death.
However, that remission lasted a mere three months. Her cancer is the most resistant kind and it returned. Jo is my hero and our fighter and she was undaunted and quickly back to the grind of fighting this monster. Jo endured more than ten chemo treatments this last Fall and Winter. She began to suffer from kidney and cardiac problems from the latest chemo rounds. She felt miserable. At that same time, in late January, we learned that the cancer returned in one spot despite the best chemo they had to offer. Jo made the courageous decision to stop treatment and live her best life.
Its been a very rough, often isolated road, between covid seclusion, 2 long winters and family in distant places, Jo and I have become an inseparable team.
I stopped working at first when Jo was diagnosed due to the risk of being a hospice nurse and bringing covid home to her in her weakened state and because Jo needed a lot of help. Jo has gone onto Social Security and I am now working part time from home.
Though we never anticipated that we would need to ask for help in this way, we have realized that it is bigger than the two of us. Looking ahead we want Jo to be able to enjoy her time without financial stress and fear. She wants to focus on the summer, seeing her grandchildren and eating well. Anyone who knows JoJo knows that she is the kindest person, always willing to give of herself. I want to focus on her and giving her all the love and support that she deserves.
Anything you can give, any financial generosity would be used for the cost of our immediate living bills (mortgage, utilities, car, food)
If you are unable to give, we understand. It's not easy out there for anyone.
Thank you so much
