Hi friends, it’s me, Johanna.

I’m raising funds to heal naturally from endometriosis and adenomyosis after 15+ years of pain and infertility, so that Sandeep and I can grow our family and welcome a child into our lives.

For years I’ve struggled quietly with a multitude of symptoms—gut issues, debilitating menstrual pain, hormonal swings, low energy, blood sugar imbalances, and more. Beneath all that has been the deeper heartbreak of infertility for over 15 years—never fully understanding why my body wouldn’t allow me to conceive.

Doctors and health practitioners have given me guesses but no clear answers. I suspected endometriosis long ago, but was told “it couldn’t be that.” Like so many women, I was dismissed and started to question myself. Sometimes I feared I was imagining it, or that something even worse was wrong.

Then, this past April—on my birthday—a doctor finally recognized what was happening. He saw endometriosis and adenomyosis on the ultrasound right away. I can’t describe the relief I felt: finally, someone saw what I had known in my bones for years.

Since then, I’ve spent months researching and talking with practitioners who specialize in helping women heal naturally from endometriosis and adenomyosis. I finally found someone who feels like the right fit—a health coach who works with Ayurveda, herbs, and lifestyle healing—and I’m ready to begin this next chapter.

My husband, Sandeep, and I are deeply in love and so ready to welcome a child together. But for that to happen, I feel drawn to focus on healing first. Doctors have offered IVF as an option, but I know in my heart that I don’t want to just get pregnant—I want to heal. I want to feel vibrant and full of life, to nurture our child from an overflowing cup, not an empty one.

I believe deeply that my body can heal. Endometriosis is not something I have—it’s something I’m experiencing right now. I see a future where I’m healthy, fertile, and full of energy.

Unfortunately, health insurance doesn’t cover natural healing. So I’m seeking support to help cover the costs of working with this health coach, along with the herbs, healing foods, and other natural treatments recommended.

It feels edgy to ask this of you—to put my heart out here so openly, to say out loud that I believe I can heal, and to name my deepest desire of having a child after so long. But it also feels important. It feels important to bear my heart, to have my friends and family join us in deep support, and to allow this support in. This is part of bringing in the new chapter of our lives: a free, open, authentic claiming of desires and walking toward them.
