Help Johana and Savanna During This Critical Time

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My name is Joan (Mimi), and I am in a fight for my loved ones, Johana and Savanna. On April 4th, 2025, my daughter Johana suddenly passed out and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Within an hour, she underwent life-saving surgery to stabilize her. While this was an unimaginable shock, things only got more difficult from there.

Johana was later diagnosed with a very aggressive brain tumor, which required an additional surgery to remove it. Unfortunately, Johana’s journey is not over. After her second surgery, it was discovered that she will need a third surgery to address complications and further treatments for the tumor. She is currently hospitalized at Cedar-Sinai in Los Angeles, where she is receiving the best care possible, but her road to recovery is going to be long and challenging. She will need ongoing treatments, therapies, and constant medical care.

I made the difficult decision to leave the San Francisco Bay Area and move back to Los Angeles, immediately, to be by her side during this critical time. While being close to Johana and Savanna is a relief, the financial burden of this move, along with Johana’s medical expenses, has been overwhelming.
