Hello Tehachapi
Today, my next-door neighbor experienced every pet owner’s nightmare.
His beloved dog, Jogger, was attacked by another dog in the neighborhood and suffered multiple injuries, including wounds to his chest, a dislocated front leg, and had to get multiple stitches. His injuries required immediate emergency veterinary care.
Living solely on SSI, my neighbor did everything he could to get Jogger the help he needed. The emergency vet bill is currently $2,500, which is a huge financial burden. Depending on how his shoulder heals, additional surgery may still be needed in the future.
Anyone who knows him knows how much he loves and cares for his dogs. Watching him rush Jogger to the vet after stopping the attack was heartbreaking. Even with the cost, he didn’t hesitate to get his dog the care he needed.
I’m starting this fundraiser to help cover the emergency veterinary expenses so he can focus on Jogger’s recovery instead of the financial stress. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to them both.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for helping a good neighbor during a difficult time.
