Our dear friend Joffre peacefully passed away on Saturday, 3.21.2020, with his loving wife Kristen by his side. The outpouring of support has been humbling, but Kristen and the kids need our love more than ever. Thank you all for your generosity.

If you know Joffre LeFevre (and it seems like everyone does), you know he’s the kind of person who never gives up.
Right now, that natural mindset of his couldn’t be more necessary: Joffre is fighting a rare Stage IV cancer (adenocarcinoma of the salivary gland). He has been battling hard for the past 18+ months—through various chemotherapies, immunological therapies, radiation treatments, and alternative therapies. He has beaten the odds several times, and we continue to be hopeful that he’ll keep beating them as he tries new medicines, experimental treatments, and trials.
But a hard, lengthy fight takes its toll—even on a person as strong and upbeat as Joffre. With any long-term health issue, there is always a physical toll. But there is also an often unseen emotional and financial toll that a family bears. Joffre and his family have borne it in private for nearly two years, during which time he and his wife Kristen have continued to work in their full-time jobs, keeping life as normal as possible for everyone—including their 3 children who are ages 13, 10, and 6.
