Hi, my name is Heather, and I’m fundraising for my brother Joey and his family during an emergency situation.

Joey is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Afghanistan, where he was injured. He is currently rated 90% disabled, yet he continues to work full-time to support his family of 7. He carries a lot on his shoulders and rarely, if ever, asks for help.

In the middle of extreme Michigan winter weather, their well system failed, leaving their household without dependable water. This is not just an inconvenience — it’s a serious health and safety issue for a large family, especially in freezing temperatures.

The cost to repair or replace a residential well can range from several thousand to over ten thousand dollars. Between medical needs, everyday expenses, and supporting a large family, this sudden emergency is more than they can handle alone.

I’m asking for help on Joey’s behalf so his family can restore their water as quickly as possible and stay safe and healthy. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward well repair or replacement and related expenses.
