Help Joey Vigil Make a Full Recovery

Well I got that one call that no parent wants to get on a Saturday night. My name is Brenda Murray and my son, Joey Vigil was in a horrible ATV accident but he fought and survived life threatening injuries. Joey suffered a grade 5 liver laceration that resulted in half of his liver being removed. Further complications included a collapsed lung, a fractured scapula and he injured the bodies largest blood vessel connected to the bottom of his heart. Joey underwent a Sternotomy, separating his sternum in order to access/repair this damaged blood vessel. In total Joey survived 4 major surgeries, was on mass blood transfusion protocol having more than 70 blood product transfusions.

Joey currently works at Legends Theater/Live Nation where he absolutely loves his job however his intense recovery will prevent him from returning anytime soon. Anybody who knows Joey, loves Joey. He’s a good son, bother, uncle and grandson. His giving heart and charismatic personality can easily fill up any room.

While he’s made fascinating progress, he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. We chose this avenue for donations at the request of so many that have reached out wanting to help. We welcome your prayers as God continues to heal, restore and fully recover Joey.
