Those of you who know Joe Stacey know how big his heart is. He’s the kind of guy who would give anything for his friends and family—and now he could use a little help himself.
Our #1 goal has always been to make sure Joey’s quality of life is the best it can be, and to keep him as independent as possible for as long as we can. With that in mind, Joey is looking to get some new wheels!
The chair he’s picked out is smaller, more compact, and much easier to maneuver—especially in tight spaces. Unlike his current power chair, this one can be folded down for easy transportation. It’ll make everyday activities like running errands, going to appointments, and just getting out into the community so much more manageable.
The total cost of the new chair is $4,750. Unfortunately, because Joey already received a grant for his larger power chair, he doesn’t qualify for any additional funding or support through government programs. So on behalf of Joey we’re reaching out to friends, family, and the community in hopes that we can make this happen together.
With summer right around the corner—the time when Joey’s most active in the community—we’re hoping to get this chair as soon as possible so he can enjoy the season to the fullest.
Any help you can give is deeply appreciated. If you’re not in a position to donate, simply sharing this page would mean the world and help us reach more people.
Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and for being a part of helping Joey stay mobile, independent, and living life on his own terms while facing this progressive disease.
