My name is Willow Pellerin and is this is a fundraiser for my closest friend Johana “Joey” Macri. Joey is the mother to two wonderful young children, who she loves and adores. Over the past 10+ years of our close friendship, I’ve learned about and

personally experienced, numerous times where Joey was “the rock” for others when they were struggling.

A few months ago, Joey was diagnosed with stage three cancer. At first, treatment options seemed limited and without positive results.

Fortunately, Joey now has the opportunity to be treated at a successful cancer clinic in Florida at the end of December. The treatments will be life-saving! Utopia Cancer Center offers treatments that are both medically necessary and align with Joey’s beliefs of what her healing journey should look like. However, they are costly, roughly $5,000/week. This does not include the price of her flight or food costs while in Florida. Additionally while in treatment Joey will be in-able to work. Proceeds from this fund will be used for these costly medical bills, groceries, and any other emergency living expenses needed while Joey is in treatment.

Joey needs the help of her community to stay in Florida for two months and receive treatment. Her children need their mom home with them and healthy.
