This fundraiser is to help Joey Mohr with any medical expenses during this time with his fight with cancer and to be able to enjoy life, as long as that may be. Joey has fought this battle with cancer many times before in 2016 and then again in 2017 and thought he had won each battle. Cancer on the other hand had other plans and it had come back with a vengeance. Joey wasn't going to just sit back and let cancer have it's way with his body, so in February of this year, Joey came at cancer with a vengeance his own. He decided to do chemotherapy, immune therapy and a very extensive surgery; one in which they had to remove part of his tongue and reconstruct it with a skin graph, along with removing as much, if not all of the tumor as they could. Joey went into this battle once again with high hopes. The recovery has been a struggle with some complications along the way. Joey being the type of person he is has taken the complications like a champ and remained the upbeat Joey we all know. Just recently Joey got the news that they were not able to get all of the cancer this time. It was growing rapidly and moving fast. He decided to once again do the chemotherapy and immune therapy, until Mayo could come up with a better game plan to fight this cancer. Yesterday at his appointment, Joey was told that the therapy they were doing is no longer working. The cancer has grown and has become immune to the types of therapy he's receiving. To top that news off, the cancer has once again spread. Mayo is doing the best they can and have hopes that they can try a few more therapies to help Joey be comfortable and slow the cancer down some. Joey is a fighter. He hopes to make the best of it, however long that may be. So please say prayers for Joey and his family. If you would like to help Joey and his wife, Kristine with the financial burdens, along with helping them make as many lasting memories as they possibly can, Please Donate...
