Hello. My name is Joe and my mother Carol was diagnosed with non Hodgkin lymphoma cancer in November after doctors found a large mass on her heart. She is currently receiving chemotherapy to hopefully kill the mass but she must face a variety of negative side effects from the medications.

We all love Carol and we are hoping your kindness will help make things a bit easier for her. While the funds will help pay for hospital bills and medications, they may be used for other things such as home health services and even gas for the long drive to the hospital.

For decades, Carol has worked with people with special needs and the elderly at group homes and nursing homes, where she would also sing and play guitar for the residents. She has also cared for many who were dying alone without family. Carol is from the southwest side of Chicago. As an avid animal lover, she now lives in Kentucky with her horse, donkey, goat, cats, and dog. A talented musician, she has numerous albums and now loves singing at her church.
