Hi there. My name is Katia and I'm fundraising for Joel Richards who lost everything in a fire at Rowe Court in Reading, Berkshire. Joel used to live on the second floor in a four floors block of flats. Sadly one of the neighbours who lived on the ground floor decided to set fire on the whole block of flats while everybody was sleeping. All residents needed to jump through windows to save their lives. Joel who was on the second floor, ran to try to help neighbours at the same floor, getting multiple burns, reaching the next door neighbours, three of them jumped through the window from the second floor. Joel got some injuries from the fall. He lost his home with all his belongs, he is now in a temporary accommodation. Any help will be much appreciated.

 

You may ask who I am and why I'm doing this.
I'm a bus driver who work full time for Reading Transport (Reading Buses), Joel was my neighbour, he is my friend and coworker, just after all happened  I was there with him untill the ambulance take him to the hospital.
