Help Joel Ortega Play at Cooperstown Dreamparks

Hi, my name is Joel Ortega. I’m 12 years old, in 7th grade, and I have an enormous love for baseball.

I was born and raised in Rhode Island to a Dominican father and a Dominican/Puerto Rican mother. I currently play for my town team, Darlington American Little League in Pawtucket, as well as my travel AAU team, the Ocean State Outlaws.

This upcoming season, as a 12U Outlaw, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Cooperstown, NY, and play at the legendary Dreamparks for a full week! This once-in-a-lifetime experience comes with a big price tag, and I’m working hard to fundraise so I can make this dream a reality.

I’ve been playing baseball since I was 3 years old, and I’ve fallen in love with the game. My dream is to one day play in the MLB—and beyond that, to give back by sponsoring youth from inner-city communities so they can have opportunities to play travel baseball too.
