Help Joel heal from Cancer

Hey All,

My name’s Scotty. As a recent Cancer survivor I’m both honored and saddened to put together this fundraiser for my good pal, Joel Morin. I’ve known Joel for over 25 years, played with him in the band ‘The Palisades’ and numerous other sessions and side gigs. He’s always been one of my favorite guitar players and can rock with the best of them!

Originally from Michigan, Joel made his way to LA for the music! Now he’s in dire need of some financial assistance.

In October of 2021, Joel discovered a cancerous tumor in his colon and has been battling it since. His friend, Carol, is currently caring for him in her home, but he's very weak, often in a wheelchair, and needs a lot of assistance to get through the most basic daily needs, not to mention to and from medical appointments.

Unfortunately the basic minimums are barely being met by insurance so at this point, we're trying to alleviate as much financial strain on both him and Carol as possible, as well as providing other support when able. Funds will go directly to them to cover medical costs, costs of basic living, groceries, etc.

Anything you can contribute will be much appreciated, and if you're able to share this within your communities, that would mean the world to him.
