Help Joel Davis Adapt to Vision Loss

My name is Joel Davis and I live in W. TN. I'm 51 yrs old and humbling myself like never before. I've always prided myself on my ability to learn anything new and work hard. Now my sight is failing me and learning to adapt is truly challenging. Being physically able but visually impaired is a hard pill to swallow. I've applied for disability, but that is not a speedy process. I'm asking for help to possibly keep me afloat while waiting to be approved. I got involved in music at a young age, and singing is the one thing my vision doesn't affect. I'm a true believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus, and although I'm not proud to ask for help, I know some will maybe be willing to lend a hand so I can have a roof and a meal. Thanks in advance for any help given, as it's truly appreciated. I'm hoping the help will allow me to get vision treatment so I can continue to be productive and have some normalcy. Also, I have a grandson and don't see him as often as I'd like. I want to present in his life and teach him how to be a man in this uncertain world. I've researched treatment for macular degenerationn, and thought there is no cure, there are treatments to possibly restore some of my vision. It's costly and without insurance, it seems impossible. I've gotten good resources from friends and I'm checking in to it. Your continued donations are not only appreciated, but possibly will give me more years of being productive in workforce.
