Joel and Julia will be going through a very long, emotional, exhausting battle. Sunday Julia experienced blood clots and went to Butterworth Hospital to get checked. She didn't see a single doctor while she was there, only nurses. They didnt check fluids or give an ultrasound, they only checked her babies heartbeat and contractions and gave her a cervical exam. After 2 hours and communicating via phone with the doctor Butterworth sent them home. At this point Julia was overdue at 41 weeks but she trusted they knew what they were doing as licensed professionals should. Monday morning Julia and Joel went to her routine ultrsound and were told their baby boy had no heartbeat. They were then informed they needed to return to Butterworth Hospital. She gave birth to 9.5lb stillborn baby boy.
