Picture: Joe & Adam on their way to his 1st day of Chemo
Thank you to everyone who has donated. We were able to make Joe's house payment this month. We would also like to thank everyone who is helping out around his house mowing, stacking firewood, moving furniture, cleaning and fixing gutters and wheel bearings, and lending their cars.
Also, thank you for all the cards and messages Joe has been getting, they are keeping his spirits lifted. We can't thank you enough for the blessings. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He goes Wednesday for his next chemo treatment.
God is greater than any hill or valley
If you know Joe, he is a friend that knows how to crack a joke at the most unexpected times. He knows the best places to hunt for mushrooms and how to cook them. He is always busy doing something and has never met a stranger. If you know Joe, you know that he is ALL of this and yet SO much more!
At the end of August, he began to vomit blood. Everyone thought he had an ulcer due to too much stress, but the biopsy revealed it was stomach cancer. He has just started round one of 10 weeks of chemotherapy, followed by having his stomach removed. He will then complete round two of additional chemotherapy.
He is so weak and ill from the stomach cancer and treatment that he cannot work. He is fighting for his life against stomach cancer, and we will not let him fight this alone!
Many have asked how they can help Joe. If you are able, please consider donating to help with his expenses. The most important thing is to keep Joe encouraged and covered in prayer. God is greater than any hill or valley.
Thank you & God bless,
Charlene, Tracy, Christa, and Adam.
