Help Joe Tour the Baltics with CYSO

Joseph has played the trombone for the last 7 years. His hard work and love of music has opened the door to many amazing opportunities in the last few years. He's performed at the Sugar Bowl, was the principle bass trombonist for the Illinois High School Association All State Honors Orchestra, marched down Main Street in Disney World. For the last 5 years he's performed with various groups at the Merit School of Music. Last year he was chosen for the Chicago Youth in Music Festival and performed under Maestro Ricardo Muti at the Chicago Symphony Center. He's was a performing member of the Chicago Youth Philharmonic Orchestra last year.

All that being said, Joe just received the news that he will be performing with the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra starting this fall. This performance group will be touring the Baltic States next June. That's where you come in.

The cost of the trip is $4,500 and that covers his travel and hotels. We're asking for $5,500 to also help cover the new travel bag for his trombone, his passport, and feeding him while on the trip. Because it will have to be checked as luggage we have to buy a new trombone case that will be able to keep his horn safe from damage in the luggage hold.

This trip is paid for out of pocket and must be paid for by April 2019. This is an amazing opportunity that we aren't able to give him by ourselves. So, we are asking for donations to help Joe be able to go on this amazing trip. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. To show his appreciation at the end of every month, we will post a video of Joe playing one of his current pieces.
