Help Joe Texas

Day 17...Joe is doing so much better and is finally off of the ventilator. However, he is still in hospital and is currently being treated for a drug resistant  super bug, which can only be treated in hospital. We are appealing for your continued help with the medical expenses  emanating from this extended stay in hospital.

Day 9...We appreciate the support we have received during this difficult time. Joe is in a critical but stable condition. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him after having suffered acute renal failure. Please please please, help us to cover the exorbitant medical costs.


Day 1...My brother Joe Texas collapsed on the morning of 30 August 2021 and is fighting for his life. He was resuscitated but has been sedated to stabilize his cardiac membrane. According to his medical team, he has to be treated slowly because of the severity of what his body has suffered to prevent brain edema and damage. His doctor is hopeful that the best care he will get is where he is due to the current pandemic and his current state. We need to raise at least R400,000 (approximately $30,000) to cover his medical expenses for the next 2 weeks (the estimated period of recovery per doctors’ consultation).
