Help Joe Spencer Rebuild His Life
Donation protected
I'm Roy Rivas, a high school friend of Joe Spencer. Joe graduated from Aldine, class of 1986.
Recently, Joe Spencer has been dealt several health challenges and needs financial assistance to buy daily medications, secure reliable transportation, a safe place to call home, and pay medical bills over $50k.
Joe was a dedicated employee of Domino's delivering pizza. He noticed shortness of breath, and then his body began to swell up. He was misdiagnosed with kidney issues and, on the advice of doctors, told to drink water, but he continued to swell. Joe was then hospitalized and properly diagnosed with congestive heart failure and diabetes. Eventually, Joe lost medical benefits and employment due to these health issues. Joe then had a minor stroke while driving, which caused a major accident that rendered his car useless. Thankfully, he hit a pole and did not hurt anyone else. He was ambulanced to the hospital, and a pacemaker was installed to keep him alive. Loss of income led to being evicted, and he is now homeless.
Joe has an employment offer but needs help with medications, reliable transportation, and a safe home to live in so he can be healthy enough to work.
