Our dear friend, Joe Padilla, just lost everything. His home in LA and everything in it burned to the ground on January 8th.

Like so many other victims of the devastating fires currently raging in California, Joe's life has been abruptly turned upside down in one of the most frightening ways imaginable. In the course of a single evening, Joe lost all of his worldly possessions and became homeless. Thankfully, he was unharmed physically, but his life is now torn apart.

Joe is a good and caring man, always willing to help those in trouble with empathy and determination. As disaster struck, his first concern was ensuring that his seriously ill 88 year old friend and roommate, Tim (for whom he has been the primary carer for years) was taken to safety. In the process, he depleted what little funds he had available to get Tim into a nursing home where he'd be safe and taken care of. As a result of this selfless act, Joe is now homeless and sleeping on a floor, with literally nothing left.

Please help Joe if you can. Every little helps and will go towards helping him get back on his feet and start again.
