Help Joe Marotta recover from motorcycle accident

We the staff at Alfredo’s at the Inn are coming together to help Joe, who is not only one of our managers but part of our family. As many of you know, Joe is a staple in the Alfredo’s establishment. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, have a nice conversation and brighten your day. Joe brings warmth to all of our guests.

Tragically, this past weekend, Joe was involved in a hit and run. He was riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a car, causing him to be thrown from his bike. He was life flighted to UH where he is in critical condition in the ICU.

Thankfully at this time, we are told that Joe will survive, however, he faces a very long, painful and difficult recovery due to his very extensive injuries. Joe has suffered a broken femur, fractured pelvis, collapsed colon, lacerated kidney, shattered arm, and internal bleeding. Joe has a long road to recovery and will require multiple surgeries.

As you can imagine, Joe will have an overload of hospital bills, along with regular day to day expenses. We are asking you now to help Joe as he has helped many of us.

This page was created in hopes of easing Joe’s financial burden from substantial and ongoing medical bills during this difficult time and allow him the opportunity to recover.
