We are incredibly honored to announce that Joe Louis & The Groove are the 2026 Long Island Blues Challenge Champions!

Because of this victory, we've earned the opportunity to represent The Long Island Blues Society at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, in January 2027—one of the most prestigious blues competitions in the world.

This is a dream come true for our band. After years of hard work, dedication, and believing in what we do, we've been given the chance to take the next step and compete on an international stage. Making that journey, however, comes with significant expenses, including:

• Airfare

• Hotel accommodations

• Transportation

• Competition fees

• Equipment and travel costs

• Meals and other travel expenses

As an independent band, we're reaching out to our friends, family, fans, and the blues community for help.

Over the next several months, we'll be working hard to prepare for Memphis, and your support will help make that journey possible.
