Help Joe Jackson’s family through Cancer battle

My name is Britney. My family lives in a small town in Ohio. Im writing this on behalf of my mother and 15 year old sister.

My dad has been fighting the hardest battle of his life, cancer. In March of 2022 our worlds were turned upside down when he was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Back in April they found spots on his liver. Changed course of treatment to target that. Chemo, radiation, surgeries, scans. Through it all he had continued to work full time as an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator in a factory a few towns over, as he was the sole provider for my mother and my sister. In July as last ditch effort a Doctor in Columbus wanted to try a treatment/surgery called Y90, with hopes it would help target the spots on his liver. This was also around the time he was unable to keep working. Unfortunately it did not help, the doctors have exhausted all options. As of Tuesday, 8/6/2024, we decided it was time to bring hospice in to keep him the most comfortable.

My mom works at the local humane society part time and is taking a leave of absence from work to be there for my dad.

He is the strongest man I know. A wonderful dad and amazing pawpaw. He goes above and beyond for everyone and anyone. He has always been there when anyone needs help. So what I’m asking for now, is for us all to pull together. With neither of them working, the medical bills keep coming, bills accumulating, and everyday living expenses. Money is tight for everyone but even a small donation means the world, or just sharing and spreading the word. I just want to try and take some financial burden off my mom’s mind. Thank you!
