Imagine the heartache of watching everything you've built and cherished reduced to ashes. The shock, grief, and uncertainty that follows can be incredibly isolating and frightening.

Yesterday my brother's home was tragically destroyed in a house fire. Thankfully he and his dogs were spending the holiday at my home but he's lost nearly everything — clothing, furniture, daily necessities, irreplaceable art and cherished memories.

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help. He is currently in need of support to begin the long road to recovery.

This tragedy couldn't have happened to a more kind hearted and loving man. We love you, Joe.

Living so far away from family and friends will be difficult to navigate. Right now, we don't know how to start to navigate the long process ahead as we are still in shock.

The process of rebuilding after such a significant loss isn't linear. There will be good days and difficult ones, but I believe in his ability to navigate this journey successfully.
