Help Joe Graves and Family Recover from COVID

COVID has impacted us all in so many ways, but a recent COVID diagnosis and subsequent hospitalization has devastated the Graves family.

Joe, the sole provider for the family of twelve, contracted COVID in late August, tried to let his immune system handle it, and in fact appeared to be on the mend, but then on September 13th got admitted to the hospital. COVID created blood clots in his lungs, made him severely dehydrated, and put him in very poor health. Joe was bedridden and on oxygen, and still could not maintain a SPO2 level higher than 88%.

A self-employed, business entrepreneur who works hard to provide for his family, Joe has been unable to work through this time. Those of you who know Joe can imagine how hard this has been for him. The Graves family is facing hospital bills on top of other expenses like mortgage payments, utility bills, groceries, etc. that continue to pile up. Joe, Heidi, and their 10 beautiful children are struggling both financially and emotionally.

Joe is currently on oxygen and blood thinners (among other medication) while he is recovering at home. He still has crazy painful coughing fits and low energy, and spends most of his day in bed trying to let his body heal. Raising $5000 will help the Graves family ensure that their children's needs are being met as Joe continues his recovery, as he will most likely not be able to resume working for at least another month.
