Joe is having to undergo a 4th hip replacement surgery(3rd time on this side).  This surgery was scheduled 3 weeks ago and then got postponed. It is now scheduled for 2/5.
Not only does he need another full replacement, he also needs to get radiation due to a heterotopic bone growth(an extra bone growing around the hip, pressing on sciatic nerve and pushing implant out of place).  As you can imagine he is in excruciating pain.
Because of the severe/chronic pain. He has not been able to work full time or on a regular basis for quite some time. 
We have some health insurance but due to a high deductible, it’s not going to cover much. 
We are just hoping to cushion the blow a little bit and make sure he can take ample time to recover.
