Help Fabe Fight Lymphoma
Donation protected
Way out east in the city of Struthers, in NEBO, there is this fella... fella I wanna tell ya about. Fella by the name of Joe Fabian. At least that was the handle his loving parents gave him, but he never had much use for it himself. Instead he called himself "The Fabe". Now, "Fabe" - that's a name no one ‘round Struthers soon forgets. See there’s a lot about the Fabe that people love. Quick wit. Big personality. Heart of gold. And a damn good fisherman too. Yeah, people around Struthers love the Fabe, and you will too, upon chance you ever bump into him.
Now this here story I'm about to unfold is taking place right now and you’ve got a part to play. Back in June the Fabe got the diagnosis we all fear. The diagnosis that sends shivers down the spine. Cancer. B-Cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. So began the treatments and the fight. Now the Fabe’s not one to broadcast his perils, but he’s not one to shy away from conversation either. So maybe you heard and maybe you didn’t, but the fight is on. This past month was the sixth treatment. Fabe’s got another year an a half of fighting ahead and medical expenses are climbing.
Earlier on I said you’ve got a part to play and this is it. Every dollar helps. Send what you can today. Send something tomorrow. Send $19 a month if that’s what you fancy. Just please send something and share this page because…sometimes there's a man... I won't say a hero, 'cause, what's a hero? But sometimes, there's a man. And I'm talkin' about the Fabe here. Sometimes, there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. And that's the Fabe, in Struthers, Ohio. Proud son of NEBO, with that cat named Molly meowing by his side. And she’s quite a cat. Maybe the best cat in the state of Ohio, which puts her in the running for best cat countrywide. But anyways, sometimes there's a man, sometimes, there's a man. Aw. I lost my train of thought here. But... aw, hell. I've done introduced him enough. Please donate. Help the Fabe Beat Cancer!
