Help Joe Beat Cancer & His Wife Replace Their Stolen Car
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Aaron, and I’m raising money for two of the most kind-hearted people I know—my longtime friend Joe and his wife Brittney.
I’ve known Joe for 26 years, since our college days at Hampton University. A few years ago, his life took a sharp turn when doctors discovered tumors in his pancreas. They thought they got it all. But since then, it’s been one setback after another—complications, hospitalizations, and mounting medical bills.
Most recently, Joe was admitted to the hospital on April 18 and has been there ever since. There was a point where it looked like he might not make it. But by the grace of God—and his own fighting spirit—he's slowly turning a corner. He can now eat a little, do some light exercises from bed, and even stand for short periods. But the battle is far from over. He’s still facing a tough road ahead, including chemotherapy to treat tumors now in his liver.
And just when things felt like they couldn’t get any harder... they did.
While visiting Joe at the hospital, Brittney’s car—their only vehicle—was stolen from the hospital valet area. She was inside trying to support her husband, and came out to find herself without any way to get home, get to work, or return to see him. If you've ever had a loved one in the hospital, you know how important it is just to be able to show up. She no longer has that freedom.
This fundraiser is to help with two urgent needs:
1. Covering Joe’s rising medical bills as he continues treatment and chemo
2. Helping Brittney replace their stolen vehicle so she can keep being by Joe’s side
Joe and Brittney are not the kind of people who ask for help. But right now—they need it.
Whether it’s $5 or $500, your donation will make a real difference. And if you’re not in a position to give, simply sharing this link with others means the world.
Let’s show them they’re not alone in this.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with Joe and Brittney.
