This is a fundraiser for Joseph Thomas, who many of you know as Joe, the friendly doorman from TV Eye, Home Sweet Home, Fig. 19, and other spots. He has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, dangerously high blood pressure, and a number of other related medical issues. He has been in and out of the hospital of late and has thus been forced to take time off work, accumulate mounting debt, lose his apartment, and live in a shelter. Joe will continue to struggle with his health problems, return to the hospital, and accumulate more expenses for much of the near future. Joe has been consistently kind to all of us over the years, and we currently have a chance to return the love by helping him battle his medical issues, pay off his debts, and get back on his feet as soon as he's able.
