My name is Joe, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life. Not long ago, I was hit with a severe case of pneumonia that left me unable to work. Because of this, I’ve fallen behind on my rent for both last month and this month, and I’m also facing court fees. Now, I have an eviction notice, and the stress of possibly losing my home has been overwhelming. My apartment manager has shown some kindness by giving me a little more time to come up with the money I owe, but if I can’t, I’ll be without a place to live.
